6:30 - 6:50 p.m.: Welcome by the Lord Mayor Henriette Reker, the Rector of the University of Cologne Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Axel Freimuth and representatives of the African communities.
18:50 - 19:30 Keynote by Kenyan author Yvonne Adhiambo Owour: Inscribing African Futures - from the Continent to the Galaxies (English with German translation)
19:30 RECEPTION & Get together in the foyer of the Depot
8.15 pm: OPENING of the africologneFESTIVAL in the foyer of the Depot. Greetings by the patron Claudia Roth, Minister of State for Culture and Media and the patron Aristide Tarnagda, Director of the Récréâtrales-Festival Ouagadougou.
Followed by a screening of SAMSON (admission with screening ticket).
