Common Stories — Common LAB

Here is a review of the first year of the EU-funded international project COMMON STORIES. africologne is a project partner in Germany.

 

Our Open Call for the Common LAB 2024 in Lisbon, Portugal | Bobigny, France | Maputo, Mosambic | Bruxelles, Belgium in the time between June and November 2024 is now closed.

 

We will invite 8 theatre directors, playwrights, choreographers and performance makers to take part in Common LAB 2023, an itinerant 8-week laboratory to experiment with collective and individual devices for knowledge sharing, and the development of artistic research, broadening European narratives.

africologneFESTIVAL

africologneFESTIVAL took place in Cologne from 1 thru 11 June 2023. The next festival edition will be in 2025.

 

africologne presents African Theater, dance, performance, media art, music and dramatic literature. There are Q&A's after the representations as well as German subtitles. The venue Alte Feuerwache was again the festival center.
